You fill in a form covering your company, your customer, the items you are quoting, the pricing and the terms, and the finished A4 quotation builds itself alongside it, ready to print or download as a PDF. It is a quotation tool rather than accounting software.

QuoteSketch is a quotation maker in the sense that you open it and write a quotation with no setup, and it is quotation software in the sense that it stores your company details, clients, items, sales people and quotation preferences so the next quotation is mostly written before you start.

Open the Quotation Builder and work down the numbered sections: your company, the customer, the quotation details, the items, pricing and tax, then the terms and anything else you use. Amounts and totals are calculated as you type, and the live preview on the right is exactly what prints. When it looks right, print it or download the PDF.

Yes. Guest use needs no account: open the Builder, fill it in, and print or download the result. A guest quotation carries a small “Created with QuoteSketch” line in its footer and is not saved anywhere, so download or print it before you close the tab.

You can try QuoteSketch free and no credit card is needed to start. Creating a quotation as a guest requires no account at all, and creating an account to save your details does not require payment either. Paid plans exist for the larger saved lists and the branding options, and what each plan includes is shown in the pricing section.

That is what QuoteSketch is for. The document layout, margins, page breaks, page numbering and the totals block are handled for you, so a business quotation comes out consistent whether it runs to three lines or twelve pages. Your logo or letterhead, quote message, terms and reference number go on every one.

Yes. VAT is the default tax type in the Builder, and you set the rate yourself. You can also choose GST, TRN, sales tax, service tax, consumption tax, a tax label of your own, or no tax at all. Your VAT number and your customer's can be shown on the document. QuoteSketch lays the figures out for you and does not provide tax advice, so check the treatment that applies to your business.

Yes, as proposal-style business documents built in the same Builder. There is no separate proposal module: a sales, technical or commercial proposal is a quotation with more explanation after it. The quote message opens the document, the terms section sets the conditions, and continuation pages carry a scope of work, technical specifications, a payment schedule or longer terms, each with your header, reference and page numbering on it. Additional pages are part of the paid plans.

Yes. You can create a single-page quotation or proposal-style document as a guest. Sign in to access additional account features and saved/reusable quotation capabilities.

Defaults are what turn a quotation from a blank page into a mostly finished document. Your quote message, terms and conditions, footer note, bank details, tax type and rate, currency and reference format are set once in Quotation Settings and copied into every new quotation, where you can still change them for that one quote.

Yes. Clients are saved with their contact and address details and dropped onto a quotation from a search box. Items, meaning the products and services you sell, are saved with a default price. Preset subjects and sales people are saved the same way.

Yes, once you are signed in. Saved quotations can be found, reopened, revised and exported later, and a quotation you are still working on is kept as a draft so you can pick it up where you left it.

Yes. A saved quotation can be reopened and modified, or revised into a new version while the original stays exactly as it was sent. A quotation you send repeatedly can be saved as a template and used as the starting point for new ones.

A guest can produce a complete quotation and print or download it, but nothing is saved and the footer carries a small “Created with QuoteSketch” line. QuoteSketch has no server that holds your quotations — everything you create stays on the device you are working on. Signing in adds the saved library: quotations, clients, items and business information you can come back to, all held in browser storage on that device. The account is the only part that is not local; Firebase Authentication manages your email and password credentials, not your quotation data. As a guest there is no library — the quotation in progress is kept as a draft in this browser, and printing or downloading it is how you keep a finished one. Either way a different browser or computer is a different workspace, and clearing your browsing data for the site clears what is stored there. Quotations can be exported as JSON or CSV, and every finished quotation can be saved as a PDF. The Privacy Policy sets this out in full.
